#28 COMMENT/ (revised 6/10) "blazes on the trail"

“It was the big timber they were after,

deep in the draw and crawling high up to the divide.

They hopped over fallen logs sure footed with calked spiked boots digging into the black bark.

They pushed aside walls of brush.

They stood balanced on wet rocks as they moved beside the bursting early spring river.

At each turn, each change in direction, they stopped, hoisted a shiny double bitted axe and slammed into the biggest of them all breaking free a chunk that revealed the bright soft color of the white pine.

This mark they made, this trail blaze, and the others, would lead them back to the loggers and the horses and the loading sleigh, there waiting to start the cut for the big timber".

Our company will follow these trail blazes.

They are our guideposts for green garden gates.

They will keep us on our path to success
